Temporary protection for your home
Describe which opening is affected, its approximate size and whether there is damage to the frame or surrounding wall. A temporary Board-Up can cover an exposed opening. The approach depends on the condition and safe access to the area.
If you rent the property, let us know who is authorized to approve the work. For a condominium or managed building, mention any shared areas or building-access requirements.
Keep your first steps simple and safe
Keep household members and pets away from broken glass and unstable materials. Do not reach into the opening, move damaged pieces or approach an unsafe area to measure it. If there is immediate danger, move to safety and call emergency services.
Photographs are helpful only when they can be taken safely. An approximate description is enough to begin the call. Tell us whether the opening is upstairs, behind a locked gate or otherwise difficult to reach.
What affects the work and quote?
The opening size, height, surrounding condition, number of affected areas and site access shape the temporary work. Discuss what is included in the Board-Up request. Glass repair or replacement and permanent window or door repairs are not included in this service.
Common questions.
Can I get a quote without measuring broken glass?
Begin with a description and any photos you can take safely. Do not approach damaged glass to obtain measurements; the necessary dimensions can be confirmed as part of the assessment.
Is Board-Up a permanent repair?
No. Board-Up is temporary protection for a damaged opening. This service does not repair or replace the glass, window or door.
